I’m Kara Davis, the artist behind Hiking.Girl.Artist.
My work starts on the trail—photographing the places that later become acrylic paintings, hand-painted jewelry, and limited edition prints. Every piece is rooted in real miles and real moments.
I hike alongside my husband—my rock, my best friend, and the one who makes sure we always find the next trail worth exploring. His work has us traveling full time, which means my inspiration is constantly changing and my “studio” moves with me.
Virginia is still home base, but the art now comes from wherever the miles take us.
